It's that time again! Somerset Art Weeks is upon us and this year it's Open Studios - sixteen glorious days to discover some of the best art the county has to offer, as artists open their studio doors to visitors. There are some exhibitions and workshops along the way as well.

153 venues are involved across our beautiful Somerset, so it's the perfect time to grab a guide, get out and about, and explore.

It's also the perfect time to listen to two very special radio shows Jenna has created and produced, as she gets to 'the heart of the art' once again.

The first show is right here and it features:

  • Somerset Art Works Co-chair and Founder of Close galleries, Freeny Yianni, (Venue 54)

  • Printmaker Jackie Curtis whose work is inspired by nature, the land in Somerset and beautiful foraged materials (Venue 106)

  • Multimedia artist Tina Salvidge who has created an amazing virtual reality experience, transporting her studio digitally to the Engine Room in Bridgwater (Venue 102)

  • Artist Jo Lathwood, whose amazing exhibition 'Down the Hatch' at East Quay explores the history and role of women in British pub culture... and features some very exciting cauldrons! East Quay curator George Harwood Smith also shares his insights (Venue 90).

TO LISTEN, JUST PRESS PLAY BELOW. Hope you love it!
